If I had to emphasize an alone thing, (there would be many more), of the impressive Senior Management Program of the IE that already it is on the verge of ending, this famous phrase would define it perfectly.
If something helps us to do things in the same way, this is the computer science: the ERP's, CRM's, BI's applications... Set to do self-criticism, the quote of the genius Einstein is devastating and therefore very valuable for thinking. The computer science is useful undoubtedly for the automation of repetitive and automatic activities but, can it be really useful in activities that need intelligence?
Where lays the value generated by the BI applications? In the own BI application or in the user's business knowledge? They are BI's companies overvaluing themselves? The answers to these questions are not easy, but undoubtedly to raise them only can enrich ourselves.
From another point of view, can BI contribute to the strategic differentiation of the companies and if it was like that, how?
Then what, do we nominate Einstein the number one public enemy ;-) ?
